Right on! Thank you for your honesty in your true motives!

Please don’t believe those lies that “there is no reason that you should have a assault weapon in your home, so there is no reason that you should have a problem turning it in”. Even if you don’t need such a weapon (I’m not going into that debate right now), it is clear that the ban on those weapons is just the start. It is a way to get the “guns are bad, guns kill” message to start to work it’s self into our culture, so that after a few years, you start to have people not really care, and perhaps vote in favor of more restrictive bans, bans which would of promptly been voted down a few years ago.

I sincerely don’t believe that we are going to win this battle, I do however think that we will be able to delay it, perhaps, for a very long time. It is almost certain in my mind that we will come to a time in the future, where crime will reign, safe in the knowledge that it’s victims are defenseless and easy prey and you will be the criminal, just because you feel that you have the right to protect your family and your person.

When that day comes, as it does so quickly draw nigh, I pray that the Lord will raise up those who will stand and remind Americans of their heritage, of their forefathers who shed their blood for the freedom which we now so rashly give away.
