The Dunn’s House
We made it to the Dunn’s house safely yesterday, our estimate of 7:00PM was right on the button!
I don’t think that we stayed up as late as we did at the Blakes, that is probably a good thing ☺
Here are some picts.

Mount Shasta in the distance.

This was a RV that was pulling a black truck with the trailer and boat on top of it!
I just managed to snap a picture, quite neat!

Shasta Lake

The drive was beautiful!

Mount Shasta!

Ahh, there we go!

Dad taking a break.

How many tires can you put on a truck?

We passed this truck at least two times, and then, two hrs later, almost to the Dunns’s house about 20 min off the freeway we saw him again!

Here are two pictures of a billboard that was amazing! We were almost past it when I grabbed the camera and tried to get a picture, it isn’t very clear but I will post the text below.

The front side: (Is Virginia Tech an Unarmed Victim Zone?)

The back: (If You Keep Voting for Bigger Government, Don’t Complain About Your Loss of Freedom!)
Very interesting!
This has become a long post, but as we are getting close to the border and I do not expect that I will be posting on my blog till we enter Alaska because I have to pay international cell rates for data.
I may post a quick text-only update to let you guys know how we are doing.
We’ll probably cross the border in about an hr.
Right now, we have been driving through rain all day, not bad, but definitely not So CA weather. ☺
That’s all for now!
Yes, it probably is good that you didn’t stay up as late as at our house!
I enjoyed it a lot, although I’m sorry if any of you were tired as a result of staying up.
Okay, now for picture comments:
Beautiful scenery!
I love the pics of your dad talking on the phone & of Andrew.
I’ve never seen that many wheels on a truck before.
Looks like you had a great time with the Dunns.
That billboard is quite interesting…
Praying for a smooth border crossing and continued safe driving!
