Well everyone, here is the first post with pictures of the fire.

Hopefully I will be able to keep you all updated.

For now, here is the first round of pictures.

*edit* around 30,000 Acres in the Agua Dulce fire Everyone north of the houses behind our hill are on mandatory evacuations 2500, people evacuated so far..

Bouquet Canyon Road is now closed at Plum Canyon Rd. Sierra Highway is closed at Davenport. All traffic is being diverted back into Santa Clarita.

Wow~ that’s certainly a lot of smoke.
Will you guys potentially have a mandatory evacuation? (hope not…)

that looks like a cranking fire! It would be neat to be on the line on that one. If you guys had helmets on in those pictures, you would look like forward observers for the Command Post. Any idea where staging or command is set up on the fire? that might tell you where (the fire department thinks that) the safest place is. They usually set up somewhere with a good view that won’t harm ops. (just hope they don’t have air command only) :D
