California, in yet just another instance to be a “leading state” in the nation, has formally, legally started issuing marriage certificates to Homosexuals Monday afternoon, 5:01 pm (6-16-08). Today, Tuesday, is the first full day, and news across the state is coming in that County clerks are expecting a very busy day today.
So there you have it. Not only has this country and it’s courts rejected the God that it was founded on, but has started to embrace and openly recognize a disgusting, perverted idea and undermine the family down to the very core. The Parents and the sacredness of Marriage between one Man and one Woman.
But God has given us a way to overcome this obscenity with the Protection of Marriage Amendment that will be appearing on the November Ballet. The Protect Marriage campaign was able, on a voluntary basis, so something that no voluntary organization in the entire history of California has been able to do. They collected from California voters, over 1.1 million signatures which qualified the Protection of Marriage Constitutional Amendment for the ballet in November, where the Voters of the State of California will decide whether or not they consider two guys, or two girls to be a “family”.
Over the next few months leading up to the November elections, we need to spread the word and explain to people that what may, at first look like a simple difference of taste, is truly a full-force attack against out culture and the sanctity of the family. If homosexual marriage is now legal, then, what is going to stop it from being “required” course material at our public schools where children will be taught that it is “normal”. Look at where this leads.
One might think that God has made it pretty clear what he thinks of Homosexual actions, of Sodomy. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone, to be an example to the nations to come.
God will allow sin to continue for a season, because He is ever merciful and is willing that none should perish, but there comes a time when the stink from a group of people becomes so great that God destroys that people and raises up another in their place.
To this great nation, founded upon principles derived from the bible, who’s moto is “In God we Trust”. How much longer will God allow you to continue to stray from your refuge and foundation? America, when God has blessed you so abundantly, the richest nation on God’s earth. Starvation is unheard of. The poorest do not lack the essentials in life. The reach of this nation is global, we have set foot on the moon, and regularly send out probes to the far reaches of the solar system and beyond. There has never been in recorded history another nation like unto us. And yet, the response is as old as the garden of eden.
There is no God, Man will be God. Man will decided what is right, and what is wrong. It is by the power of our might that we exist as we do. Folks I have news for you, if it were not for the hand of God working in the early founders of this country and preserving us throughout history. If it were not for God keeping our country together, and defending it. We would not be where we are now.
If you look around at this nation, in almost every area, we are resting on our laurels. Our father, and their fathers had success in America. It must be the land, it must be that if you are in America, something magical happens, where you are guaranteed success. I got news for you all. It is not because of some mythical property of this land, but because of the people and the faith in their God, the God of the universe that America is what it is.
We have done the impossible, too many times to count, but we are getting lazy and content to sit there and watch the inheritance from our forefathers fall to pieces around us. We are more concerned about the speckled toad, than $5+/gal gas and the far-reaching re-processions that it will have in our economy.
We are fighting to give the enemies of this country the privileges of the citizens of this country, when our sons are putting their lives on the line to capture and apprehend those very individuals.
We are more worried about our carbon emission footprint, than about the decay of culture and the rampant spread of the idea that immorality is normal and to be accepted.
All ye that love America and what is stands for. Pray. Pray that God would continue to have mercy on this country and do all that is in your power to get a constitutional amendment passed which would secure, at least for a time, the sanctity of marriage. But most of all let your light shine, so that others may see it and by it know the truth that is within those of you who personally know the God of the universe.

What bothers me almost as much as this is how Christians have almost given up on the issue of divorce. Have you noticed how often the same-sex marriage proponents use divorce statistics as an argument against us? If we can’t get our act together and start fixing traditional marriage, it will be a hard sell to convince people that traditional marriage is worth protecting.
