Happenings

Well everyone, I have not updated in awhile as I have been quite busy and working on a few projects.

As I don’t have a whole lot of time, I will just list a few of the most recent and forefront events that have taken place.

First off, I think that the biggest news is that Home schoooling has now been ruled legal in California by the same three-judge panel that ruled in the first place that it wasn’t.

From HSLDA: “Today’s decision stands in stark contrast to the opinion this same three-judge panel issued in February, which would have made California the only state in the union to outlaw home education had it remained in effect.

“It is unusual for an appellate court to grant a petition for rehearing as this court did in March,” said HSLDA Chairman Mike Farris, “but it is truly remarkable for a court to completely reverse its own earlier opinion. We thank you for your prayers and give God the glory for this great victory.”

In other news, I just finished getting the LeMasterSystems photo gallery which has been long due back into working order. Actually, it is completely new gallery. There are still a few small things that need to be worked out but everything essential should be in running order. Because of privacy concerns, you will need to create an account (by clicking the Register link in the upper right hand corner of the gallery site, in order to view any of the current photo albums. Once you create an account, I will have to approve it before you can view the photos.
More pictures from previous activities will be coming soon, as I can upload them, and future events will definitely find their way on to the gallery.
So create an account and see what is in store.

Ok, enough of the infomercial.

This week Matthew and I are working another CI in Hacienda Heights. So far things are going well. Pray that the Lord would use us and work a mighty work in these kids lives.

The rest of my time is spent busy with work, and a few other small projects as I find time for them.

I’ll leave you with one quote from the CI training.
When talking about what NOT to do and how we did NOT want the kids to take home from the week.
“Mommy, my teacher fluently says ’shut-up’” ~Will

Blessings on you all!
