Montana Joins States Considering Sovereignty Measures
On Tuesday, February 17,
Montana joined the growing list of states considering state sovereignty bills. Already considered by many to be on that list due to their “Made in Montana” guns rights bill, the state formally joined the other six – Arizona, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, and Washington – with the introduction of H.J. 26 by state Representative Mike More.
The bill relies heavily on Thomas Jefferson’s Kentucky Resolutions of 1798, as does New Hampshire’s bill; both warn in no uncertain terms that the state will no longer tolerate the usurpation of its authority (or that of its free citizens), and that further violations against the Tenth Amendment will constitute a nullification of the federal Constitution. In a word, these two states are threatening to secede.
What does any of this have to do with parental rights? It is a question of authority, a question of freedom
The Grand Secession plan (James Dunn Style)
Step 1. All conservative governments, state and local, agree to suceed from the union together if the liberal federal government refuses to recognize our fundamental rights given to us by God. We’ll essentially be holding the liberals in Washington hostage.
Step 2. When they brush us off, make good on our threat. The heartland will secede, as will most of California, Illinois, Oregon and Washington (most as in geography (see this), not population).
Step 3. Washington D.C. finds itself in a dilemna. They can’t fund any of their programs anymore because most of the people who actually pay taxes are gone. So they order the military home to deal with these meddling “bitter gun-clingers”.
Step 4. Even though we’ve technically seceded, we take the constitution and the flag with us, since the otherside has treated neither with respect. While we’re at it, we’ll also take the name “the United States of America” with us. In effect, instead of seceding from the Union, we are forcing the blue parts of the country to do so. We have our own election, set up our own government which will meet in Texas, and appoint our own pentagon officials. We’ll aslo craft a new currency (with Ronald Reagan’s face on the ten dollar bill), a currency backed by a real commodity, such as Gold, Silver, or possibly food of some sort (as suggested by Dr. Macky and the faculty at The Master’s College). We’ll then claim that the U.S. capitol has been taken over by a Chicago Gang Boss and his thugs who have no respect for the U.S. constitution. So, the military will end up siding with us. We have both the principles and the power.
Step 5. The country has split. The conservatives have taken their guns, pickups, religion, U.S. constitution title and flag, free radio air waves, and the military with them. The business world of course flocks to us. All that the liberals have left is their red tape, the IRS, other beaurocracies, thuggish cities, the declining dollar, and their precious public schools. They won’t be able to sustain themselves. After a while, their system will implode and we’ll come back in and set them back up (forcibly if neccessary; remember we have the military), and re-educate them on what it means to be an American.
Step 6. America is reunited again. There are no “public” schools; Americans are free to educate their children however they see fit. Abortion is illegal (Duh, it’s murder!). Washington D.C. is restored as the capitol, and the federal government is no longer able to directly tax any private entity; instead it can only require a percentage of each state’s budget. Americans now have a more local voice on their prefered method of taxation, and Washington D.C. no longer has the power to manipulate society with its fiscal policy. The supreme court no longer has the power to overrule anything congress passes, let alone legislate from the bench. They no longer meet in their own building (the one FDR built for them); instead, they meet as they used to in the old senate chamber in the capitol. The Supreme Court building has in turn been transformed into a museum about the dangers of marxism, liberalism and big-governmentism, with a wing dedicated to the holocaust of abortion.
Since voting in the renewed republic is something that should only be done responsibly, no one can vote unless they are certified to do so by passing a lengthly exam which requires a comprehensive study of American history and ideals, with a big emphasis on the thought of the founding fathers.
Rehab centers open their doors for disillusioned former liberals.
Step 7. In the end, sucesion succeeds in preserving our great republic and its freedoms.
