Certainly a sobering wake up call and an illustration of the consequences of past generation’s decisions. The trade off of materialism and convenience for “here and now” ends up destroying the future for succeeding generations.
But then again I guess that’s logical when people only live for this life. They may not even have kids and just be totally focused on prosperity in this life alone.
I guess the major fault is with us Christians who have the truth and yet at the same time have allowed worldly lies to infiltrate our thinking and our culture.
May we strive to return to Biblical roots and examine everything in light of Scripture.
